Buy South African Wines

Will I find these items in stores in Mozambique this December?
We are first going to Rizoldo Beach, Guinjata for a few days and then to Paradise Magoo, close to Xai-Xai.
We have heard that Mozambique’s stores does not have as many things as South African stores, so please tell me if we will find these things:
Brandy (many types, one type or none?)
Beer (castle, black label etc?)
Apple Sours
Wine (all types – red, white etc)
Weed (I know this wont be in stores haha, but will there be people on the streets selling? Are the laws around this similar to South Africa’s? We won’t get thrown in jail and tortured to death if we try to buy some right?)
Please don’t think we are only going to get drunk and high, it’s just that these items can’t be taken across the border easily so it would be nice if we can get them there.
I stayed near Xai-Xai a few years back, and believe me the trips to go get supplies can be real hell. The stores dont even have fridges, if you want a cool drink you get a warm can straight off the shelf. To get bread you need to stand in a queue in a crowded steaming bakery amidst the locals who without trying to sound horrible have the most overpowering body odours I have ever smelled in my entire life. You can also expect to be MOBBED by crowds of local kids as you get out of your car, its very unpleasant, and I will definitely not go back. We did manage to get beer though, but only Mozambique Beer like 2M, cant actually remember about wine and spirits. The one guy in our group took boxes and boxes of spirits across the border, all he was asked to do was give the guy from customs a bottle of cane, and he turned a blind eye.
One thing you must be very aware of, especially if you are driving through Maputo, is that the cops in Mozambique are the SCUM OF THE EARTH. They will specifically look for South Africans, pull you over, charge you with some RIDICULOUS made-up offence, and then AGGRESSIVELY demand a CASH payment (bribe). It is important that people in the car especially in the car do not keep cash in their wallets, hide it elsewhere and plead poverty or show that you only have R100 left and give it to him as a last resort.
