Do I need a liquor license to sell wine in gift baskets in Missouri?
I want to sell wine by the bottle in gift baskets or maybe just by the bottle as a gift. They will be sold out of MO, and will only constitute about 10% of my sales. I need to know if I need a liquor license to do this and if so, what classification of liquor license will I need. Also if you know all this…How much will this cost?
Yes, you will need a liquor license, but it will depend on if you are selling at a brick and mortar location (you will need a site license) or if you are delivering. I am not certain about delivering but the site location would be very similar to a bar license. I would imagine it would cost a few hundred dollars for the application/processing but will also tax each unit that you sell.
A good way to find out more info might be to contact a local winery and see if they can assist. They would be interested in trying to get you to sell theirs, so you could make it mutually beneficial.

Family $3.99 This sounds like a pivotal release for Rimes, who made her breakthrough as a childhood prodigy with an uncanny vocal resemblance to Patsy Cline, and then evolved into an eclectic diva who couldn’t quite decide what she wanted to be when she grew up. She’s all grown up now, as both the sensual “Upper Hand” and the spiritual “What I Cannot Change” attest. Rimes had a hand in writing all the material… |

A Good Year (Widescreen Edition) $4.99 A feel-good movie that highlights the beauty of France as much as it does its stars, A Good Year provides a languid, gorgeous viewing experience. The Greatest Story Ever Told $7.23 The life of Christ got an excessively long treatment (260 minutes, later trimmed to 195) in this 1965 film directed by George Stevens (The Diary of Anne Frank). Max von Sydow does beautiful work as Jesus–his spontaneous mourning at discovering his friend Lazarus has died is not like anything in other New Testament epics–and Stevens renders the familiar tale with a handsome authenticity. But the … |
